About ELPASO
ELPASO, Engaged Latino Parents Advancing School Outcomes, is a grassroots movement, empowering a critical mass of well-informed and skilled Latino parents who ensure that their children arrive at kindergarten ready to learn. ELPASO involves parents at the most basic level of child growth and development, before they enter the public education system.
ELPASO was formed through deep consultation with hundreds of Latino families in Boulder County, as well as dozens of stakeholders who know well the challenges of trying to close our achievement gap.
