We have exciting news to share with you! On July 1, 2022 Engaged Latino Parents Advancing Student Outcomes (ELPASO) will join with the Colorado Statewide Parent Coalition (CSPC), a much larger non-profit whose mission is to promote equity in education. This transition will support the expansion of ELPASO's critical programs to other counties across Colorado while maintaining its commitment to the families in Boulder County.
The COVID-19 pandemic widened the existing economic, social and educational gaps between the Anglo and Latino community. Latino families are harder hit by economic downturns and often lack the essential tools and optimal conditions for on-line schooling.
ELPASO is a bridge builder between the Latino community, school districts and broader economic and human services. ELPASO's mission is now more important than ever.
